Our established sand casting process enables us to deliver fast and flexible solutions for rapid pattern changing or for small and medium batch sizes. We process individual castings in our hand-moulding shop and use our boxless, cold-resin block moulding plant or automatic core block moulding machine for large production runs. This efficient and proven process is suitable for all common cast steel and iron materials

3d Printing System – Innovative Possibilities. 

The innovative 3D printing system allows new possibilities: Based on CAD data we are able to produce sand moulds and cores for prototypes, single spare parts and complex serial parts. Beside reduced development time and avoided pattern costs our customers benefit from increased engineering opportunities.

DRIVER HUB

Target Setting

Creation of an optimum profile suited to casting, strict requirements for corrosion resistance.

Solution

By adapting the original profile (over 300 kg) to a design optimized with respect to casting, it was possible to save more than 100 kg of material and slightly reduce the output of the drive, thus maximizing savings for the customer. The DUPLEX steel used meets the very strict requirements for corrosion resistance (alkalis, aggressive chemicals).

Target Setting

Solution

Precise mould production and accurate application of the coating provide the basis for meeting the very strict requirements for dimensional accuracy and surface quality. Each individual casting is tested for dimensional accuracy before delivery in specially designed limit gauges.

Target Setting

Solution

Depending upon the batch/unit size, the parts are manually cast or manufactured on the moulding plant. Where required, smaller volumes can be supplied within two weeks including primer and works certificates.

Target Setting

Open impeller wheels for centrifugal pumps in various materials. All customer requirements should be fulfilled with just one pattern.

Solution

These centrifugal pumps require homogeneous fluids with a high solids concentration and high proportion of air. The impeller depicted was manufactured with corrosion-resistant cast steel in our modernised and extended manual casting facility, which permits precise production with very short turnaround times. Delivery is made including thermal treatment adapted to the material. A big plus for our customers: We fulfil all specifications and cast the impellers from the same pattern in various iron and cast steel alloys.
